Fun Holiday Traditions

Posted By: Staff Editor On: 11/6/2009 3:28:11 PM In: Uncategorized

As the holiday season approaches, many companies organize fun events to celebrate fall, winter holidays and year-end traditions. If your company has events in place, but would like some additional ideas, below are just a few fun suggestions:

• Host a Thanksgiving luncheon complete with turkey and employees can contribute by bringing traditional side dishes and desserts.

• Organize a food drive for the needy during November and December. You can even hold a competition to see which department can collect the most food and in turn will win a prize.

• Bring in apple cider, pumpkin or apple pie for employees to enjoy while on a break.

• Coordinate a workstation decorating content to see who can be the most creative. Let employees judge the contest.

• Collect old winter coats, sock, hats and gloves for the needy during the cold winter months.

• Arrange a holiday gift grab. Employees who would like to participate will buy a gift usually $25 or less and wrap it. All wrapped gifts are placed on a table and everyone picks a number to see what order they can pick a present. All gifts can be unwrapped after everyone has a present or after each individual person picks a gift.
